SAVE THE DATE! DSF Steps Toward a Cure: Desloge Labor Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 2nd at 8:00am!
Dravet Syndrome is a rare and catastrophic form of epilepsy with uncontrollable seizures starting in the first year of life, developmental, physical and cognitive delays, low muscle tone, poor sleep habits, autism, and so much more. 20% of children with Dravet do not make it to adulthood. Through aggressive fundraising like our Steps walk this September, DSF funds research towards better treatment options and, ultimately, a cure someday.
Join us for an awareness walk and 5K with medals for each age group! Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for children. Children and adults with Dravet syndrome are free with a paid adult registration. It is a fun way to meet and connect with other local families while helping to raise funds for the programs of DSF. We encourage you to pre-register by 8/5 to guarantee your event shirt.
