The Market in Terre Du Lac and The Caring Hearts Society are hosting a Flag Day Ceremony on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 10 a.m.
Bring a lawn chair and join the community as we pay tribute to our Nation’s symbol.
The American Flag is a symbol of freedom, liberty and human rights. It is a symbol of our home and all that we believe in as a country. Across the world, the American Flag is displayed as a symbol of inspiration, hope, freedom and togetherness.
We would be honored to have all Veterans attend to be honored for serving our country Patriotic ceremony performed by the Farmington VFW.
Guest Speakers: State Representative Mike Henderson, St. Francois County Commissioner David Kater, and a Veteran will share a few words.
The National Anthem will be sung by local vocalist Lenna Meador and MC Melissa Patt.
Following the flag Raising Ceremony there will be a short tribute to two TOL Community ladies – Ms. Beverly Pinson and Ms. Carol Wagner, for their history and impact in our community.
You may come before the service for an all American breakfast at The Market in Terre Du Lac and even stay for an all American lunch.
The Caring Hearts Society will be selling patriotic gear. Proceeds will go towards community service needs.
